Our client newsletters are sent monthly via email, fax, or mail depending on our clients' preference. Recently, a bulletin from Hartford Insurance Company came across my desk and I felt it was serious enough to send a special notice to all of our clients.

The bulletin discusses legislation in Sacramento regarding workers' compensation benefit increases which could affect all of us to the tune of 3 billion dollars! Yes, I said 3 billion dollars. This bill could potentially raise workers' compensation rates by 40% in the state of California.

Alandale Insurance is not taking political sides or claiming this will happen if the bill is passed. We are economically concerned for ourselves (as we also pay for workers' compensation) and our clients' well-being.
