Alandale Insurance Agency has always been proud of its contributions to the community, but never did they imagine those contributions would include donating organs.

Tricia Townsend has been with Alandale Insurance for 9 years. She is currently the agency's Personal Lines Manager.  She has always been dedicated to the company, and also to her family and friends.  This past November, Tricia was told that a family member was having kidney failure and was in dire need of a kidney transplant.

Without being asked, Tricia volunteered to get tested as a donor for Anita Jordan.  After going  through all of the necessary tests , Tricia was told by her doctors that she was a perfect match for Anita.  On Wednesday, April 5th, Tricia left California to travel to Chicago to begin preparations for the transplant.  The surgery took place on Friday, April 7th, with both Anita and Tricia's families and friends by their sides.  The surgery proved successful and Anita is understandably very grateful for Tricia.  She knows that they will be forever connected. Tricia is an inspiration to both Anita’s family, and her own as well as us here at Alandale.
