Paula began her insurance career in 1991 as a Claims Examiner with Liberty Mutual Insurance.  She quickly rose to the top of that company becoming Senior Claims Examiner before she left in 1996. 

From 1996-2000 Paula worked as a consultant for Risk Management Consulting, a firm specializing in Risk Management Program Design and Implementation.  A key accomplishment was the resolution of an audit dispute saving a client $1.5M.  In another claims review she was able to reduce claims reserves by $1.728M prior to Unit Stat filing date for to greatly reduce future experience modifications.   Paula has built and managed loss control programs (including establishing budgets) that on average reduced clients loss ratios by 57%, ultimately creating bottom-lines operational savings for her clients. 

Since joining Alandale in 2006, Paula has been responsible for Workers Comp Audit Reviews, On-going Claims Management, Experience Mod Projections, Payroll Disputes, Claims Disputes and Classification Disputes.  We are very happy to have Paula as a key part of our services for Alandale clients. 

Education:  BS from Cal Poly Pomona where she earned a Certificate of Appreciation and was part of the Mentor Enrichment Program.  Paula is also currently affiliated with Orange County Risk Information and Management Society.
